How it works
The Fellowship is not 1:1 coaching — it's a peer learning career development program based on the principles of Design Thinking. Starting March 13th, you'll spend about five hours per week doing the following:
Complete assignments on your own time
Watch career design videos from the experts, explore curated resources, and complete insightful exercises. Just get the work done by the recommended deadlines!
Weekly team working sessions
Work with a diverse team of fellow alumni to get new perspectives and enlightening feedback. Choose between Wednesdays at 7pm ET or Thursdays at 9pm ET.
1-on-1 calls with your partner
Go deeper with your hand-picked partner that you'll have a lot in common with. You schedule your weekly working session calls at times that work for both of you.
Leverage the whole community
Crowdsource ideas, resources, and connections from fellow alumni, your personal network, and the Fellowship facilitators. You have an entire community supporting you!
What you'll experience
Expect to spend about five hours per week on the Fellowship. You'll have a 1.5 hour video meeting with your assigned Team once per week (Weds at 7pm ET or Thurs at 9pm ET, you pick). You’ll also have a weekly hour-long phone call with your Accountability Partner (at a time that works for you both!)

Is the Fellowship right for me?
We've designed the Fellowship to help you figure out exactly what you want next from your career and develop a plan to get there, regardless of your age, background, or industry.
You already know exactly what you want and just need help landing a job ASAP
You want one-on-one expert career coaching (this is a peer-to-peer program)
You want the answers handed to you and aren't willing to put in the hard work
You aren't excited to spend some of your time helping your peers
You're not able to commit to completing the assigned work (about 5 hours per week)
You’re looking for specialized career advice for a unique situation (launching your business, getting promoted to CEO, etc)
What do you mean by "Career Design"?
Career Design is the act of intentionally crafting your career to make it fit you, whether you want to make the most of your current situation or make a bigger career change to something entirely different. Career Design is all about understanding yourself, your goals, and your options, then making a plan and taking thoughtful steps towards more fulfillment.
How much time will this take?
We've designed the Fellowship to take about five hours of work per week (mostly on your own schedule, except for the Team meetings, which are 1.5 hours weekly). You will get the best results when you keep up with the suggested deadlines and attend all of your weekly Team video meetings and Accountability Partner calls.
What technology do I need to participate?
All you need is a computer with a webcam (tablets won't work!), reliable wifi, and a Google account. Nothing to download, and no special equipment required! We'll be using a platform called Teachable for the program curriculum, a tool called Slack for our community discussion forum, Google Docs for your assignments, and a video conferencing tool called Jitsi Meet. We provide tech tutorials before the Fellowship begins so you can learn everything you need to know!
What if I have to miss one or more of the Team video meetings?

Who is leading the program?
The Fellowship experience is brought to you by the career design experts at Mission Collaborative. They’ve spent years refining this program, and they’ll be your guides through the curriculum.
Ashley Artrip, Co-Founder of Mission Collaborative - My mission in life is to help others design successful careers that are engaging and fulfilling. Before Mission Collaborative, I worked at Gallup and other various organizations where I focused on researching employee engagement and what contributes to a successful career. While at Gallup, I became a certified Gallup StrengthsFinder coach, enabling me to help others identify their strengths and harness them to design careers they love.
